In the absence of registry offices and land offices, our 14th-century ancestors had to employ creative methods to settle land disputes and establish property boundaries.
The marking of the borders of Egerszeg (modern-day Zalaegerszeg) was ordered by Queen Elizabeth in 1381. Our animated film commemorates this event, offering insight into the conditions of late medieval Hungary and the spartan memory techniques used by people at that time.
