We created two similar animation films on the same topic, differing only in minor details. How did Hungary become militarized in response to the Turkish invasions?
The film uses simple but effective tools to depict the not-so-easy yet peaceful everyday life. Various professions are shown, and situations are hinted at through snippets of dialogue. This world is eventually destroyed by the Turks, who appear as a dark nemesis. On the ruins of this world, the survivors have only one path left, the one that leads to the fortress. The animation evokes the style of contemporary copper and woodcuts and their colored versions.
