Numerous legendary stories have been passed down about Pál Kinizsi. The tale of the miller’s apprentice lifting a millstone as if it were a tray is widely known, but the true story is even more thrilling. We witness the rise of a valiant soldier during a time when Hungarian weapons enjoyed the fortunes of war in all points of the compass. The film is inspired by the visual world of Kinh Matthias, with his initials spinning throughout the entire narrative and, of course, every small detail is authentic.
