The Battle of Saint Gotthard and the Peace of Vasvár
One of our true "large-scale" films—though not quite a feature-length one—is this battle film. Fortunately, the residents of Vasvár asked for the Battle of Saint Gotthard to precede the treaty associated with their town.
The film is based on a contemporary print of the battle, which was practically a visual war report. We kept this style, but added color and animated the 2D characters. When needed by the story, we also included 3D animations to show combat techniques, formations, and uniforms. The film tells both the prelude and aftermath of the battle.
