Széchenyi at the Battle of Raab
In 1809, Napoleon's all-conquering army crossed into Hungary. The young Széchenyi also joined up with the rebel nobles to receive his baptism of fire.
This animated film uses maps to depict the lost Battle of Raab, its background, and the bold feats of the unyielding Hungarian aristocratic rebels of the Meskó division, along with Széchenyi’s brave courier journey, which clearly illustrates the valor of the young count, although it is not well known.
