It was a small town on the edge of the country, and now it is a small town in the middle of Romania, but it can still be honored as the most easterly of Hungarian towns.
Away from Budapest, it is not that interest in history is reduced, only that the possibilities to present history are restricted, and this is particularly true beyond Hungary’s borders. Kézdivásárhely’s museum has moved into a new building, the location of a former Székely military school. This short film tells the circumstances of the founding of the school, at a time when the Székelys were still guarding the borders of the Habsburg Empire.
