The films displayed in the Time Well at the Petőfi Memorial Museum in Kiskőrös presented a serious artistic challenge, going beyond the usual need for "the less the better".
Due to the design of the Time Well, the films are projected on the surface of a truncated cone, meaning that viewers cannot see the entire surface at once from a single perspective. So, during the narration each visitor sees a different image.
In Freedom in Love, the surface is divided into a male and a female side, similar to nomadic yurts: on one side we follow Petőfi, while on the other we trace Júlia Szendrey’s experiences after March 15th. This dual perspective persists even in locations where they were together throughout the day.
The film The Infinity of the Plains is a love story about an outlaw from the lowlands, where every line of narration is pieced together from various Petőfi poems, while the visuals utilize the poet’s favorite images.
